If you aren’t local, don’t waste your time or your money here, they don’t care about you and don’t want your business. Seriously the rudest staff in fact the grumpiest Austrians we have ever come across. We tried so hard to part with our hard earned money but they seemed to be uninterested in taking it. Food was dull and slammed on the table like we were an inconvenience to them. They seemed to be polite and friendly to the locals so clearly have a problem with foreigners. Terrible customer service, avoid at all costs unless you live in the town of course.

Great outdoor area, inside, especially the sanitary facilities, kitchen rather just a star

We were here on sunday afternoon and it was full as expected. We ordered 2 cappuccinos, an apple strudel with ice cream and a lemon sorbet (lemon ice cream infused with sparkling wine). It tasted good and the service was fast. In the ladies' room I do not have a hook for the handbag - I do not want to put my bag on a foreign cuddly. Since you could sometimes improve. Otherwise everything was fine.

In itself good location and good music for young audiences. Unfortunately, one has the feeling that there are often real violent clashes between the teenagers and the security staff is not in control of the situation. It's just stopped briefly the music and waited instead intervened consistently. Too bad, because the location is super central, but there should not prevail any kindergarten with Rauferein in 10 minutes.

Food was ok. Service was quick but alone and therefore quite stressed and sometimes unfriendly. Ice cream was ok too.

Bouncer just kept the double entry fee. You get problems on request. Staff is also rude and slow. Everything seems pretty out of the way

Great location, great coffee, prices expensive like in Vienna, but that's (funnily enough) written on the menu. After all, this provides amusement ... (below we offer at slightly overpriced prices ...)

Service: Time is soooooo relative!Let the magic of the present slow you down. Atmosphere: Not "RETRO" weird "ORIGINAL" 'The' center of Gmunden, overlooking the Traunsee estuary, the ships and the people. ESPECIALLY: Tuesday morning market day. Stammcafe by Thomas Bernhard and other Muessiggangers.

We ordered a cheese and salami toastie which was pretty good to be fair, the staff however were absolutely shocking. Talk about bad manners and rudeness. I don't think I've ever been quite so disgusted. The drinks and food were literally slammed down on the table by the waitress who certainly needs some training on how to treat all customers equally. We had to ask for the bill more than once and at one point was told sorry we are busy with the kitchen so you'll have to wait. When we were finally acknowledged we were scowled at when we didn't have the right change. For goodness sake teach your staff some manners. Disgraceful. You deserve zero stars just for your appalling attitude!!

Tasty bio breakfast, friendly service and nice view. But they did not accept credit cards.

Super friendly service, very comfortable!

Overflowed, barely found space. Breakfast too expensive, long waited on the order. Breakfast was half eaten, Dan finally combed my half-cooked egg for 1.60 € (the son would have had it).

It is comfortable to sit down with friends.

Wait 10 minutes to order then 5 more times to pay, totally rude and then have to listen to something like: "are they free today? They have time they have a nice day" is next to us, tell him we would like to pay goes away 5 minutes later again and then go to all who ask for us. You have to wait a long time for the service. But the restaurant has a special meaning for us - first date :). Therefore is visited every now and then.

The place looks nice and modern, and the serve quality food and drinks. However, the customer service definitely needs some work. They unlocked the front door, so I assumed they had opened. However, one of the workers told me that they were still closed, so as I tried to get my things together, she yelled out “Get up please! We are closed!” Beyond RUDE and IMPOLITE! In the USA when we close a place, we normally lock a door as well, and we definitely would not speak to a paying customer like this either. Customer service definitely needs some work and IMPROVEMENT.

Good cafe, beautifully located near the lakefront. Pastries and coffee very good. The weekend is always very busy here in the evening

Very rude staff! Telling the guests to hurry up even when its not busy! Breakfast was ok nothing special and doesn't compensate for the rude staff!

Unfortunately, we will no longer visit this coffee house -Not exactly family-friendly (no high chairs, no changing facilities)But the machine at the toilet is important!Have my child wrapped on the bench - have no problem with it, but then being looked at crookedly is not correct!Unfortunately we will have to go to the competition in the future and also our friends with children!

On the menu is coke 0.3l for 3.10 €, you only get a 0.25l. Rip off pure !!!!!!
